Welcome to our family! We’re a diverse group of people from various organizations and faiths who share a common desire to build a future world that works for all. We are inclusive and curious, and love to explore new ways of thinking and seeing the world. Many of us are leaders of non-profit organizations, corporations, or independent thought leaders. Many of us already have active projects to make a difference. And we love hearing from others… perhaps you!
MISSION STATEMENT
​UPRISING TOGETHER is a collective of many organizations -- learning to work together -- who envision a world of peace, love, cooperation and creativity. We currently produce monthly events in the Los Angeles area with prominent speakers and workshops.

Our next event will is an in-person interactive workshop, led by Ping Ho, founder of the Arts & Healing Initiative.
We will personally experience the innate power of the arts to foster healing, connection, and resilience for all.
Ping Ho is Founder and Director of the nonprofit organization, Arts & Healing Initiative, which transforms lives through the innate power of the arts. She was founding administrator for the UCLA Cousins Center for Psychoneuroimmunology, which led to the privilege of writing for Norman Cousins and co-writing the professional autobiography of George F. Solomon, M.D., founder of the field. She has a BA in psychology with honors from Stanford—where she was appointed to establish the still-thriving Health Improvement Program for faculty and staff, an MA in counseling psychology with specialization in exercise physiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MPH in community health sciences from UCLA School of Public Health.
